Even at this discount, I still have yet to find a good use case for me personally that makes an apple watch worth the money...I think if they added non-invasive blood glucose monitoring that would seal the deal for me

People with diabetes already have monitors that are far better than what an Apple Watch could offer. But for people trying to stay away from insulin spikes and monitoring a diet like LCHF it would be helpful.

How is the 15% off the Series 7 steel with Mileanese band? I was waiting for the series 8 (hoping it would have some type of glucose monitor but may snap this).

Best use case for me is Wallet & Apple Pay, that alone is worth the money for me.

Interesting to hear! How often do you use Apple Pay? I use it about once per day on average, so a few extra seconds to take out my phone isn't a huge deal for me, but super curious to hear how others use it.

I'm not with my iPhone all time. For example, when I go to the supermarket just two blocks away from home I go walking and leave my iPhone at home.

Even when I'm with my iPhone with me it's more easy to just use Apple Pay on the watch.

I bought the 45mm Wifi Series 7 for $429 about 3 months after launch right from Apple. It seems to me waiting for price drops on Apple Watch is the right move? Since new generations don't really bring that many tangible benefits. Series 8 is rumored to use the same chip as S7 and S6 which is quite disappointing.

For iPhone I intend to buy at launch since there are almost no price drops until the next generation actually launches. And the year over year improvement is more significant.

Got my gf a Apple Watch 7 41mm in blue for 279 and I got a Apple Watch 7 nike+ black 41mm for 279 from aafes, tax free baby!

can you use Apple Pay without internet activity? or do I need to have watch connect to my grocery store wifi to process transaction? curious
Yes, most time I use Apple Pay on my Watch without internet (Wifi or Cellular) and without my iPhone. It's the same as a physical credit card.
