Amazon Prime Day is pretty underwhelming this year.
Any specials at Whole Foods? At least give out a free reusable shopping bag like it did in the past for Amazon Prime members.

That's been the case for the past several years. Amazon Prime Day, is their yard sale of overstocked items they are trying to unload. I haven't participated in Prime Day in about 7 yrs.
^^ This. Prime Day is a corporate-invented holiday to drive sales. If you're really interested in getting something at good discount, at least check to see if they didn't mark up the prices beforehand so that they could display a larger percentage off. For example, somebody said for one Prime Day (if not this year), an Xbox series X that normally goes for $500 got marked up to $595, then discounted to something just below $500 to make it look like it was some spectacular deal.
