Have had ATV 2022 for about a week. All apps working fine apart from prime which has audio out of sync. Native prime app on lg tv works fine. Have tried adjusting match frame rate no change.

Are there any other suggestions? Thanks!

Is the AppleTV connected directly to the TV or through another device? App is up-to-date?
Hi it’s connected directly to TV. As far as I know it’s up to date. Should be updating automatically.

Just thought I would ask since connecting the ATV to a receiver/soundbar/etc. could introduce sync issues.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the app?

I only have the 2nd Gen 4k connected to my receiver and haven't encountered this issue with Prime or other apps I use.

Yesterday I was watching Philo TV app on my Fire TV Cube 3rd gen and I ran into a lip sync issue there too. I restarted the Cube and that fixed it. I had the same issue the day before as well. So it might be an issue with Amazon’s servers.

I've just posted a thread on lip sync issues also. I can get Disney+, Netflix and Youtube fine but if I play a purchased iTunes movie the lips are out. Will try Prime too but for me it sounds like an Apple TV issue more than each app

Force quit the Prime Video app (double click Home and swipe up on its app tile). This has happened with Netflix app and restarting the app fixes it.

However, lately Prime Video has stopped in middle of playback and won't continue; have to exit the app and resume manually. Maybe some backend issue as we're not having issue with other apps.

I am getting intermittent lip sync issues across all of my apps since upgrading from 2017 4K model to 2022 model. Same settings on both. Might just have to switch back to old unit. Was hoping tvOS 16.2 would fix this. The only way to fix it is to restart the Apple TV or go to settings > audio > audio mode and toggle it between auto and 16-bit (issue occurs on both settings, just switching it from one to the other resolves the issue, for a few hours, and then it must be switched again, alternating between the two settings).
