When someone posts a link to a product on amazon.com, it is not actually a link to amazon.com, but a link to target.georiot.com which redirects to the users local amazon with an acording referer ID attached. I don't have any problem with macrumors making money of those links, however the link in this thread (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/portable-battery-suddenly-stopped-working-on-iphone-6s.1944274/) redirects me to the search of German Amazon, where the product, the user wants to link to, does not exist, so I have no chance to actually see what product the user is talking about.
