Today we're tracking a collection of discounts on Apple's M4 MacBook Pro at Amazon, including as much as $400 off select models of the computer. All of these deals have been applied automatically on Amazon and do not require an on-page coupon in order to see the final sale price.

Deals include both 14-inch and 16-inch models, and the biggest savings will be found on the latter group. The steepest discount is on the 16-inch MacBook Pro (M4 Max 48GB RAM/1TB), available for $3,599.00, down from $3,999.00. At $400 off this is a match of the all-time low price on the high-end model.

For the 14-inch models, you'll find up to $220 off these computers on Amazon this week. You can get the entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro (16GB RAM/512GB) for $1,449.00, down from $1,599.00, which is a solid second-best price on the computer.

Nice! So those weren’t the bestsellers they hoped for I suppose. But nice to see some decent pricedrops 👍🏻

What are you using now if I might ask?

Mac Mini M4

Realized my laptop usage is super super minimal so I'll just keep using my 2015 15" MBP for those very rare occasions

Given that I'm never going to pay the Tim Tax for storage it also made more sense as external NVMe is not a big deal or inconvenience at all with a desktop vs a laptop

I had these visions of "one laptop to solve it all" ... but I quickly realized I hate using any sub 15" laptop screen, so I was basically going to use it docked all the time ... so why not just get a Mac Mini at that point?

The base M4 Mini is a stunningly great machine -- butter smooth, dead silent, so powerful
Incredible value

Is Apple preparing the upcoming Air release with price drops to prevent MBP customers from waiting for the updated MBA?

Very good deals. I would've considered one of them if I hadn’t bought one already.

I wish they would make the anti-glare / nano-texture display standard, so we could take advantage of these discounts without missing out on the better screen.
