I have always bought my gear from the Apple Store with good service and support that followed. I just have this feeling it does matter that you gave them the full margin and they use that to do things like, give you a whole brand new MB (or mini) when you encounter a few looping visits to the genius bar for the same problem.
But with that said and focusing on post sale service with AppleCare on the MBP, is there any difference between buying from Amazon or Apple Store.
For my purchase situation:
I have a 10% off one time only Apple Store coupon and with MA tax it totals like $1146. And they won't combine discounts.
vs.
Go with Amazons Black Friday deal for $1049 total, no tax with ship to MA.
So a $97 savings with Amazon. But I'm thinking about the service first then savings.
