Well if they don’t release public beta today only next week? What means “stable” release after next week

Notice none of them include higher configs people actually want like 10/16/1TB.
I mean who is buying a 10/24 with only 512 of storage?

All standard configurations are either with 256GB or 512GB storage. A 16GB/1TB config is a custom build. That's probably why you don't really see any sales on them.

Apple could have data that shows the most popular MacBook Air sellers are those with 256GB and 512GB storage.

Even the iMac and Mac mini aren't offered with 1TB storage options by default. And if you want 1TB on an Mac mini with M4 Pro chip, that too is a custom order.

For those who need more storage, an external drive is a much cheaper option.

After years and years of having iPad Pro, I finally come around to realizing just how expensive it is compared to reasonably priced mac. I think the last iPad Pro I bought I got the 13 inch plus the new magic keyboard and I ended up spending like $1800. I could’ve bought almost 2 MacBook Airs for that or a upgraded 14 inch MacBook

Which is funny because when I bought my first M1 MBA, the only way to get them in 16GB without waiting months was to pay extra for the 1TB model that they had plenty of in store. Before that I used to never go over 512 because of external drives, but the joy of not having to swap drives constantly made the extra money worth it so I plan on sticking to the 1TB option when the M4 MBA drops.

Good discount. But with M4 models launching anytime now, might be better to wait. Expecting to see further price drops after the new model is launched.
