Lots of Amber alerts going on in California today. :(

When looking at notifications on my watch, I don't mess with them, especially while driving. So it times out and goes in my notification list.

So later I scroll through the list and see one of the amber alerts and when I tap it, it does the loud alarm tone again. I'm already looking at the frigging thing, so why bother?

Edit:

Just had another one. This one did not make any noise when I viewed the alert (after letting it expire to the notification center).

That's 5 or 6 alerts in less than half a day - though only two incidents occurred.

I turned my Amber alerts off as it would go off in the middle of the night while sleeping. Happened several times.

No more.
Same here. 3 in the morning, startled me out of a deep sleep, and the alert didn't actually provide any information that would have allowed me to help even if I had my own search team equipped with hounds, much less at home in bed sleeping.
