Ambient Light Sensor does not work in Lion

Hi guys,

The ambient light sensor on my Macbook Pro (late 2008) does not work in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion DP. Neither it dims screen light, nor it lights the keyboard, no matter how dark the ambient is. I can change both manually (and independently) using the keyboard though.

I tried resetting the SMC, but it did not work either. I wonder if anyone else has this problem and how to fix it.

Just wait for the next beta build. Report the bug to Apple. My MBP's light sensor works just fine.
