Does the new MBA still have the ambient light sensor that adjust the screen brightness to environment?(like the older MBA and the current MBP)

Came to search for and ask this exact same question.

Once I learned they cut the Backlit Keyboard...and the IR port (confirmed?)...I wondered if it still will auto adjust brightness to the environment.

Can anyone confirm / bump!
