I can't seem to find any good ambient artists. Do you guys have any suggestions for songs like Brian Eno's?

I really really don't know anything about Ambient artists... most Ambient music is unmemorable, probably by design.

However, I do listen to Ambient music to relax at times.

I suggest you might fire up iTunes and select one of the Ambient streams that are on there, then looking to see who the artist is.

John Serrie is my favorite. He has done multiple pieces designed for planetariums.

I started listening to him 15 years ago when I would sit outside under the stars with my Meade Dobsonian.

Well worth a listen

Robert haig coxon, michael logozar, secret garden, yanni, liquid mind, 2002, Dan Gibson. All of these folks are spectacular. My favorites are secret garden and Robert haig coxon.

Slow Dancing Society (Love this track).
Stars of the Lid
Jon Hopkins - Opalescent
Harold Budd & John Foxx - Drift Music
Hammock
Mooma (Go download his excellent free album ‘Herd Forming’ here)
Markus Guentner (he does techno also, so make sure you pick his ambient works. Most of that get’s released on the annual ‘Pop Ambient’ series).
Eluvium
Robert Rich (Check out Somnium… a 7 hour long continuous piece).

x2 [Ulrich Schnauss]

X3. I love his music. Somewhat similar is Washed Out

Some of Jean Michel Jarre's work is ambient (Oxygène is good); For true ambient, atmospheric music I have a bunch by Andrew Lahiff I downloaded free from ArtistServer that I really like. Also, Brian Eno's Apollo is a good ambient/atmostpheric album.

:)
