Ambient Noise Reduction new Imac

Hi, I just bought a new 21.5" iMac and I need some help. I can't find the option to uncheck Ambient noise reduction or to turn off the second mic that picks that up. Is there any way to do that? Thanks.

Does it quiet your room? Curious as I know they do this on the iPhone and first time for me hear about this on any Mac.

Ordered a 27" so I'd like to know too.

Don't know exactly what you mean by quiet your room? My problem is that as I record something (let's say guitar) with the iMacs mic it has this weird background sound and comes out horrible. This doesn't happen in my macbook (it doesn't have a second mic). So I'm assuming it has to do with the second mic and i can't find a way to turn it off so I can check.
