I recently updated my HomePods to 16.3 and was happy to find these ambient sounds in the device settings that you can automate or add to scenes. I knew there were some available but I didn’t know how many. After playing around with them I’d like to be able to listen to a few via my AirPods connected to my iPhone or iPad. I googled this and apparently you should be able to by using a Siri command, but I’ve tried asking Siri to play these tracks and all I get are random and totally unrelated tracks in Apple Music. For example, I’ve tried asking Siri to ”play night sounds,” ”play night ambient sounds,” etc but it never works.

Has anyone gotten this to work?

I think the Siri method is only for the HomePod. There's a couple ways to do this on the iPhone, these were the first two results in my Google search:

Thanks for your reply!! I should have been clearer - the background sounds in Accessibility are different than the ones available on the HomePod. At least most of them are - a few, like night sounds and forest sounds are missing from this menu, at least for me.
Maybe that’s just a bug on my end though.

Either way I sent feedback so hopefully they will all be included at some point in the future!
