AMD phenom II X4 980BE vs Intel i5 4570

Is there much of a performance difference between the AMD phenom II X4 980BE vs Intel i5 4570 (Has well) ? I do realize the AMD is quire older.

- 1 Nvidia Gtx 460 1Gb OC
- 8 gbs DDR 3 ram at 1600 mhz

Will the Intel be significantly better for gaming, video rendering, compute tasks like Seti@Home?

According to passmark, the phenom scores 4747 and the i5 scores 7068, so quite a bit faster.
