iPad Americanize a foreign app?

I downloaded a game plants vs zombines 2 from itunes Australia store two weeks ago.

Now this game is available in USA. Should I delete it and redownload from the usa app store? Is there a way to preserve the game progress?

As far as I know plants versus zombies 2 saves your progress in iCloud. Since the app is free, you could always try downloading the version from the US App Store and see if it keeps your progress. If it doesn't you can always reinstall the one you got from the Australian App Store.

You're right. I deleted the app, and redownloaded the game from the usa app store. When I lauched the app it displays a screen "loading progress" which took about a minute to complete.

When it is done, the game progress is indeed preserved.

Actually before I deleted the app, I looked in the game's documents folder on the ipad to see if there's any file to save (usually game progress appears here). There wasn't.
