Despite knowing better, I let my iPhone get too close to my cup of water and the screen was splashed with a small amount if water. I know the standard protocall for dealing with water/liquid anc everthing seems fine. It didn't trip the headphone jack sensor. Since I purchased the phone with my AmEx within 90 days I am still covered by there purchase protection. Should I do nothing or take it to Apple to verify that all the sensors are in original condition?

If you are sure that no water got into the phone, and the sensors aren't tripped, I wouldn't worry about it.

I am a bit worried that some water could have gotten in throught the speaker. Is that something to be concerned with?

I would be concerned about it. If water got in there, a problem could crop up later, caused by corrosion.
