I just got the best birthday present today, I have just found out I am (as of today) an AMPAS nominee!!! This whole year ahead will be a tense and exciting time! I'm still shaking with the news!! :)

Just enough time to take my wife out for a celebration dinner!
 
CONGRATS!!!
I was nominated as well a few years back. Enjoy the parties and invites. Whatever you do don't miss the Oscar luncheon. It's the best and only the nominees the president of the academy and the host of the award show get to go. Buy a good pair of sunglasses because the paparazzi will blind you with their cameras. enjoy it it's rare and might be the only time you get to experience it. At the luncheon they will give you a sweatshirt with and Oscar on it that says nominee under the Oscar. I will be buried in mine. Again Congrats!!

I'm sure he'll remember all of that when he goes back in time to the ceremony with his time machine.
