Hi, I'm using the app Amphetamine 5.2.2 on my Macbook Pro (Catalina), and I have it set to start when I turn on the computer for an indefinitely period of time, meaning it's always on, because I don't want ever the Macbook Pro to go to sleep unless I manually do it myself.

The problem I am facing is that, by default, the session is set in the settings to NOT let the Macbook Pro sleep ("Allow system sleep when display is closed" DISABLED by default). However, no matter what, whenever the session starts automatically, that setting is enabled, ticked.

Am I the only one facing this or this is a known bug?

If I manually start a session, it will have that option disabled, as intended. It's just the automatic sessions when I turn on the laptop. If this wasn't enough, even though the tick appears to enable that option, the system won't go to sleep when the display is closed, except a very few times when it actually does. Random behavior. I have Amphetamine Enhancer installed and does not change anything, still same issue.
