amsn.dmg failed to mount?

I just downloaded the latest version of amsn. After I unzip the bz2 file, when I double click on the dmg file, it says disk images failed to mount, reason: not recognized
What's going on??

I tried to redownload it from their official website.. and then I tried to download from sourceforge.. but the same problem...

Try downloading it not using Safari if you are.

Safari for some bizarre reason will append an extension.

Did you notice the difference in the filename/extension?

If I download with safari, its xxxx.dmg.bz2..
While in firefox, its just .dmg...

Yeah Safari sometimes appends the .bz2 extension to some .dmg images.
