I've noticed that after an extended period of time, my iPhone performance becomes sluggish, and it needs to be rebooted.

Someone should create an application that can schedule a reboot.

Since I'm not the guy that will be doing that, anyone feel up to the task? ;)

Sounds very annoying. I need to make a call quick! Oh, rebooting. I'm gonna check that Ebay auction about to end. Rebooting. I don't know what's so hard about hold down the power button for a few seconds...

Such application exists, but Apple won't allow it to be in App Store.

Set a recurring calendar item reminding you to do it.

However, if you can't remember to restart a phone every few days, maybe you don't need a phone.

That's why you schedule it for 3:00 am.

Do you know the name of the app? Is it in Cydia, or is it something that I will need to SSH into the phone?

I'm comfortable with all of the above, and my iPhone is jailbroken, so no issues there. :)
