and the weird thing is i dont have alot of apps or music etc on my macbook.

is there a way to see what if eating up my space?

thanks

Two free apps are Grandperspective, which graphically shows you disk usage.

and Omnidisksweeper

I really, really like Grandperspective, but I keep going back to Omnidisksweeper due just to the fact you mentioned. It's easier for finding smaller files like caches and temp. files.

Omnidisksweeper is technically shareware, but the only thing paying gets you is the ability to delete files. With the free version, just double click on any file you want to delete, and it will be revealed in Finder. Then just right click - delete.
