Alright, so I saw this cool ass repo for Popcorn time and wanted to install it on my Iphone 6 running a jailbroken ios 10.2. I went to re-jailbreak my phone using the Yalu app but it crashed and got stuck on a white screen. I did some research and found that it was a common problem and just needed a hard reset, I tried a hard reset by both home AND power buttons and home, power, and volume buttons. The phone refuses to reset, it's just stuck on a white screen. I tried installing dr.fone on my laptop but my laptop couldn't even recognize the phone. Any suggestions?

UPDATE #1: So I plugged in my white screened phone to charge it in case it just randomly fixed itself in the morning and went to sleep, and when I woke up lo and behold! It was fine. I think the problem may have been associated with my jailbreaking while on low battery and the battery running out whilst the phone was re-jailbreaking. It may have been just a coincidence though. I'll update this post if it ever happens again or I figure out what happens :p

Try to DFU restore. You will lose the jailbreak, but if you make it you will know it was a software issue. In that case, I would consider myself lucky. If you don't make it, than I am afraid you have a hardware problem.

I tried a hard reset by both home AND power buttons…
This not working suggests that you have an iPhone 7 or 7+. But you didn't specify one way or the other.

…and home, power, and volume buttons.
If you do have a 7 or 7+, WHICH volume button?

You can sit there using the power and volume up button on a 7/7+ until you're old and gray, but unless you use power and volume DOWN you won't get anywhere with that.

So, which button did you try? Assuming you have a 7/7+.

I have an iphone 6 and I'm pretty sure I stated that above. Fixed though :D

I got it fixed but here's a note just in case any other people get the same problem:
The phone isn't recognized by the laptop and I couldn't hard reset let alone boot into DFU mode.

If you did, I totally missed it yesterday. And I try to read everything entirely so I don't look like a jackass when making statments the way I did. :)

I see it now. Thanks. :D

Care to tell us how did you fix it. Could be useful for someone else having the same problem :)

He put it in his OP.
