Hi
1. If you run software designed for Snow Leopard on your Lion machine the software doesn't autosave.
2. It seems to be a fact that Apple will never let the user be able to toggle Autosave on/off.
When developers update their software for Lion is there any reason for them not to make Autosave something you can turn off in that particular app? Autosave must be a feature that the app developer deliberatly puts into the software? So can't they make it something the user can toggle on/off?
I know it's a bit tedious for the user to have to turn it off in every single application but at least it provides a way to do it now that Apple has decided that my iMac has to work like a 27" iPhone
