An indication of an iPhone 5 in October?

On the Verizon website I came across an offer that lets you get 100 dollars back if you buy a smartphone before September 30th. Does this signal an iPhone 5 launch right after?

I thought we all had agreed on the fact that there would be an announcement at the end of September and a launch in the beginning of October.

Whoever thinks otherwise is obviously stuck in La La Land.

Could be just a deadline they have for an internal reason, or it could just be a deadline like a regular item sale would have. It could also signal a Nexus Prime launch, too.

Could be anything or nothing at all.
