An issue with switching languages

I’ve just upgraded to macOS High Sierra and I have an issue with switching languages.

I have English and Russian options, but I need to make Cmd+Space more than one time to switch the language, and when I do so, I may get the US icon in the status bar, but the language is switched to Russian and vice versa.

Any thoughts on how to solve this?
