When comparing iPhone 8 models, I noticed the following statement on the Apple Store that was not on the iPhone 7:

Fast-charge capable:
Up to 50% charge 30 minutes

This is a new feature that looks pretty cool. How long does it typically take to charge a phone up to 50%?

Fast charging requires USB-C 29W (or higher) charger and USB-C-to-Lightning cable, both sold separately. Similar to fast charging capability with the iPad Pro.
