Things are getting wild at the British prime minister's residence. No, that's not a reference to the official start of the 2015 election campaign: Photographers who staked out 10 Downing Street today captured images of a fox slinking past the door of the famous residence.

And that's not the only animal that appeared at Prime Minister David Cameron's door today. His cat, Larry, popped out for some fresh air — and shared an awkward moment with a police dog.

The media had converged on Cameron's residence after Parliament was dissolved, setting a date of May 7 for national elections that are widely viewed as both unpredictable and possibly defining Britain's future in the European Union.

Immediately after Cameron's press conference, the reporters caught up with the fox to ask him a few questions. One of the reporters asked how the fox felt after his morning run, in which the fox replied, "I'm Fantastic."

:D

there are foxes running around downtown london?

but if a cat had been giving a police dog the puffy tail the other side of the pond it wouldnt end well.

I hadn't spotted this story until you posted it; thanks a lot, urban foxes are fascinating and a face-off between a cat and a dog is always a tale worth recording and telling.

There's even a fox ghetto where police don't go for fear of being attacked, just outside Lewisham.

Poor reporting. Larry is not the PM's cat, he belongs to Number 10, he is Chief Mouser :D

The picture with the Fox looks doctored somethow. The front paws are not in a natural position compared with the hind ones. Not that it is uncommon to see foxes in London.
