A fisherman was rescued yesterday by EMS after being impaled in the head by a 6 foot fishing hook. The Captain of the vessel said that he's the bravest man I've ever seen, he never flinched.

"He's going to be OK. Just anytime anything gets impaled like that, they have to leave it in until the bleeding stops, but I guess he is going to be OK," said girlfriend Jen Souris.

EMS workers considered the lobsterman very lucky.

eeh... reminds me of the guy who was impaled by the drill bit...

I'll remember to watch my head when around sharp pointy objects...
 
Yes, you can never be to careful. He's lucky that it was just a flesh wound. Mainly just required some repair and stitches. It was amazing to me when I heard that he went home that evening. He definitely has a Spartan type of personality.
