itunes gives me this prompt upon launch now.

Is this harmless to jailbroken/unlocked iphones? Anyone know?
 
It sounds like it's probably just something like APN settings, but who knows whether it'll screw up your jailbroken phone. Which network are you using it on and which network is/was it locked to?
 
Updates APN gives you this option /General/Network/Cellular Data Network

Hi all,
I have applied this download on iPhone gen 1, jail broken.
What it did was give me the option back to edit the APN with no hacking.

The rest of the phone works the same including installer and cydia.

Settings/General/Network/Cellular Data Network/ APN - username - Password.

Hope that helps.
 
It is harmless. I tried it with my 3G jaibroken 2.2.1 and everything is working normal.
