After having built a home wide audio system based on a single tv (living room) and several AirPort Expresses (kitchen, shower, bedroom), I decided to have a better look at the back of the unit and realized that it also has amplified RCA stereo outputs.

While most of my system is conveniently wireless, I found that I could connect a couple of old unpowered Creative Labs speakers to the back and wired them through to yet another room.

Check your tv setup. You might have room for some extra speakers without realizing it. :D

I use the analog outs on my AppleTV to drive Zone 2 on my AVR (most AVRs will only output analog sources to zones other than 1).
