Analyze for Stabilisation markers disappear after splitting a clip

Hi,

I "Analyzed for Stabilisation" a clip in my iMovie '09 project.

iMovie actually analyzed the clip in Events (not project) so I had to replace the clip in projects in order to see the "squiggly" red lines in the project.

However, when I split the clip in projects the "squiggly" lines disappear from the project (not from the Events clip though) so now I cannot properly edit my project.

any ideas if I've done something wrong?
