Anamorphic Possible from DSR300?

I have a Sony DSR 300 and two available lenses: a Canon YH18 and a YH14. Is there any anamorphic converter lens compatible with anything on this camera? I'd really like to shoot anamorphic 16:9 with the 300 but I can't seem to find anything!

Also, does it make a difference if I find something for the camera or for the lens? I just don't even know what to search for.

I disagree, the camera is extremely popular among the ENG community. But as this appears to be more of a consumer forum, I will take my question elsewhere.
