Anandtech and other sites popups

Anandtech.com and many other websites have this annoying feature where small advert popups appear when you mouse over certain words or phrases.

The text is normally light red for example.

Anyone know a small app that works with Windows Firefox, to stop this from happening?

Other sites are bloody awful for them, real pain in the arse when browsing.
