As I told you guys before my MiniTower simply wouldn't boot, well it turned out to be the stupid floppy drive ribbon cable, it had two holes in it from brushing up against the metal in the mac (I frequently open it) So after removing the cable it boots up. Now the hard disks (2) wont boot, they have OSs on them but they are currupted. Here is more info on the HDs:
Hard Drive A: UWSCSI Name: Macintosh HD OS: Mac OS X 10.2.3 Mac OS 9.2.2
Hard Drive B: SCSI Name: FireBall 6GB OS: Mac OS X.2 (no updates, just from CD)
Now none of them will boot, I get wipe out all the data on Hard Drive B but I need the Data on Hard Drive A. I need a to make a CD that will boot and will run software to fix the hard drives. Disc Utility (apple's software) isn't powerful enough. I have a version of Drive 10 from LimeWire
but it needs to be used as a regular app and can't boot the computer by itself. I need help on this one, there is a program called BootCD, it makes CDs out of the System Folder on a Mac and you can boot from it, I didn't have any luck with it, it said there wasn't enough free space to make the disc, well if 20GB is not enough than get out of here. So I need a Boot Disk so I can use Drive 10. I want my Mac to live again. Please help me. I have some System Discs: Mac OS X.2 "Jaguar" (both CDs) Mac OS X.1, Developer Tools (from X.1 and X.2) and a Mac OS 9 CD
Can I use those? I also have a built in ZIP 100mb Drive, can that help use Drive 10 while the Mac is starting up using teh Jaguar Disk 1?The Jaguar CD just boots up as if you wanted to install it, and Disc Utility on it isn't powerful enough to fix it (it says it is repaired but then wont boot, and when you try again it just repeats) But if I booted to OS X.2 from the CD can I read a Zip with the Drive 10 software on it?
I need help guys,please help :-D
