IMHO it is. Come on guys, you're forgetting about the Photostream icon with the bigger screen and oval home button?

You have a really good point. Why would apple make the icon not resemble the iPhone 4 (or 4s for that matter)? Why make it different?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5)

My guess would be that Apple intended to release the iPhone 5 on Tuesday, but production delays caused the release to be pushed back. The anticipated release could explain the presence in some of the software.

Or maybe the diehards are right, and Apple really has something up their sleeve.

Hey, at least we're counting down hours now, and not days!

Tuesday, my friends. Tuesday. All will be revealed!

Exactly ;)

It's just an icon dude. That doesn't mean anything. It proves nothing, and disproves nothing.
