Techcrunch had a story on Android apps created by a group of students at MIT. The apps for the Android look very cool. I hope we see cool apps like these for the iphone. I like the bluetooth app where you can control all your bluetooth devices from the phone, even unlocking/locking your car and starting it. Locale is also pretty sweet.

What do you think? How many of these will we see on the iPhone?

Just from the brief look at the few applications that were displayed at the iPhone SDK event, I think it is safe to say that the same type of apps will definitely be available on the iPhone. The possibilities are endless, given the iPhone's tremendous processing capabilities and advanced operating system. Lets just hope that the rumors are correct in that the new iPhone will have GPS capabilities. That will allow for some really sweet apps.
