Android like settings shortcuts

I have been looking for this for a long time, but never found any way to enable it. What I want is an icon that has a switch on it, when it s pressed, it will toggle the setting. Anyone know of anything like this?

theres sbsettings where you press the icon and it will toggle on/off.

I have sbsettings, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. Its missing the simplicity of an icon that is a switch. I actualy want exactly what android has. That is the only part of my wifes droid x that I like.

is it really a pain to set something as simple as a swipe to bring it down.. anywhere (even not on homescreen?)
Idk I never understood why those were useful, they always looked like they took up space to me
