Hello,

I'm trying to show a flow through an animation I'm creating. I remember seeing the style of movement on one of Apple's product videos and wanted to know how to do it.

Here's the video I took the screenshot from. The arrows come in at 3:30: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GA50u4_TAzs

Thanks!

I would create it in another app like After Effects or Motion.

Here is an plug-in but not sure if thats what you require.

One simpler way to do it is to use the Elements panel in FCPX. It's much more limited and has some quirks. However, you could select the Arrow element and create it as an overlay. Then you could put it in a Ken Burns effect to have it seemingly move across the screen. You could do several of these, but the results will look much less sexy than the youtube video. I don't think you can make it sinuous like the arrows in the youtube video either.
