Animation Creation HD to iMovie

I have an iPad 3, with the Animation Creation HD app. Can anyone tell me if I buy iMovie for my iPad, would I be able to upload short clips ( saved into my photo app ) I've created with AC HD, and import them into iMovie? If I'm able to I think I will purchase iMovie.

Also, can you export out of iMovie in 1080p, like to Youtube?

Aww, Come On Apple!!

Well, I found out the hard way on my own. I purchased iMovie for the iPad last night, and exported a project to Youtube. And NO, you cannot export out of iMovie off the iPad in 1080p. Kind of a bummer.

All I can hope for is an update will eventually come out that allows you to export in 1080p, to take full advantage of the quality of the new iPad camera.
