Animations on iPhone 6 Plus

After reading this morning's article, I am curious if GPU performance is noticeably different on the iPhone 6 Plus. Those who have the device, can you comment on how smooth the animations are compared to the iPhone 6. I am reading that the iPhone 6 plus has twice as many pixels to push. Not quite certain why Apple didn't up the internals just a tad, so that performance is the same as the 6.

Really? I have read some reports that people have the "6" is much smoother. Have you used both models?

Yes and my untrained eye noticed no difference.

I remember getting the 5S, and damn the 5 was just as fast using ios7 lol.

I'm sure there are people who ordered both the 6 and plus that can give good feedback

There are some things that lag on anyone's Plus such as opening spotlight and then rotating into horizontal view, it will stutter. Also, go to notification pull down, swipe left to reply to message and use speech dictation and it will stutter quite a bit. Just weird things like that which not many people will do anyways.
