The battery packs are just 18650 in a nice case with some charging/power circuitry. I have the really small single cell ones as well a a couple of the USB C PD ones.

On one of them stored for about a month-45 days at 3/4 full charge, what I found odd today was that is was straight up discharged to zero. A fluke. Eh, we'll see. Charged it up and going to monitor over the next 2 weeks . I'm sure ~cheap~ battery packs may exhibit something like this. Curious, anyone ever see something similar ?

Never seen that but Anker is good about replacing defective products - contact them if it persists.
