Anker is selling the device for $35.99 on Amazon. To recharge it, the PowerCore 10K Wireless includes a USB-C input port, and four LEDs to indicate battery level. The new accessory will be ready to ship within 6 to 10 days.

There are a few other Anker sales happening on Amazon this week, including a collection of charging accessories. Most of these require a discount code, which we've listed below. In the list, you'll find solid deals on wireless chargers (from $10.99) and wall chargers (from $30.99), which could help enhance your home office.

Can I assume you can wirelessly charge an WATCH?

as far as my Apple Watch goes, it only charges with the one it came with.

the use case of this seems very limited. Would take forever to charge and usually you get a powerbank cuz you want to keep your phone alive when u r out and about, not when u r just chilling somewhere with enough time to have it sit down in one place? And in those cases it would just be faster to charge it the normal way

Even my 11 Pro not a single complaint with battery life. It’s amazing

You can thank Apple for that trade-off.

The iPhone 11 Pro isn't much faster than the previous iPhone - because they focused in on battery consumption instead of making it faster.

Pretty good move as the A12 is plenty fast already, and by far the fastest mobile chip out there.

I have an XS Max and battery is Ok - it's alright if I don't use it excessively. But the 11 Pro I got for my son lasts forever, and he's on it all day.

The reason this is not more common is because mobile charging is not the time you want to be wasting a bunch of power with inefficient wireless charging. Plug your phone into the thing, how hard is that? You need a 10kmAh bank just to make up for how much of it you're throwing away by using wireless charging.
Seriously. This seems like a solution in search of a problem.

Read between the lines, and you'll find that Anker rates their wired 10k banks to be about 70% efficient.

The current marketing on this new model is silent in this respect (probably for good reason), but does reveal that it takes 4.5 hrs to fully charge an iPhone 11 wirelessly, versus 2.5 hrs wired, so it's not only energy inefficient, but wastes time as well.

No PD charging? And the wireless output is not even 7.5? This isn’t good enough for many iPhone users and I cannot imagine a single Android user wanting this...

a few months ago prior to Christmas there as a number of great, colour coded, variants like this with 30K watts (? I may have that wrong) yet was pulled off Amazon.

wireless charging via USB-A (x3), lightning and power out the same.

Will it charge an Apple Watch?

I have a different brand but can say this is really useful as a mobile professional frequently up and away from desk-for-the-day and frequently using my phone.

Just set my phone down on the Qi power bank and it keeps charge throughout the day. No fussing with cables etc.

Then at the hotel at night it serves as a charging hub. Plug it into power source, then set phone on top and airport case plugged into a USB port. Come morning everything’s all charged.

Not everyone has this use case, but it does exist.

Fair points! For me the battery thing is more of an emergency measure, and I'm more likely to actively be using my phone *while* I'm charging it, in which case a cable actually makes it easier because the phone doesn't have to be pressed up against the battery/charger to charge up.

Honestly, for times when I think I'm going to be seriously drawing my battery down, I find a battery case to be most convenient of all since it's just a single unit. I'm not super likely to drain the case and my internal battery in a day, and at night I just do as you do and plug the battery case in to charge and wake up to everything being at 100%. To each their own!

This could be handy under the right circumstances, but why USB-C input and USB-A output? That feels borderline outdated already, and by not settling on one, now you have to carry at least two different kinds of connections if you want to use this wired.
Who wants USB-A sockets anymore?, every single device and lead I own is USB-C so why do companies like this keep bringing out batteries and indeed hubs with multiple USB-A sockets.

You're ahead of the curve and represent a small portion of the market at this time.

Most every one else still has a ton of legacy cables and accessories that use USBA power source.

Yup, it's a different paradigm. Mostly I use the Qi battery pack as if it were a Qi pad that I don't have to plug in -- sits on the desk and is where I plop my phone down. Thus maintaining charge and never get to a low battery state.

Since of course it also works like a normal battery pack, I can do a wired charge of the phone in the less common event where I do need a faster charge. I keep a 4" USBA to Lightning cable in the travel pouch I keep it in and can stack phone and pack with cable connected.

Nice we have various options out there for folks different needs.

The answer is... price. 10,000 MAh of quality lithium batteries and wireless charging circuits are expensive enough to implement. Add the high-current-draw battery cells and requisite USB-PD circuitry required to properly support USB-C, and you're looking at a bill of materials WAY higher than $35, let alone a 2-day-shipped final sales price.
