On the subject of external batteries, does anybody have recommendations for a good one? I have have several zagg ones that I need to replace (they took forever to charge and now they can’t even hold one), and would like something better.

EDIT
I don’t want anything too large and would like to keep it in the ~$20 USD range.

I have the powercore 21000, it's a beast. The Powercore+ 26800 seems pricey at $110, but maybe I'm missing the value it provides.
The 20100 on sale here has USB micro for charging, and that would likely keep me away. I got a powercore 20,100 years ago with a USB-C port, along with two usb-b ports... Design wise, it looks an awful lot like the 26800 on sale here. So... with this one, you also get a powerful wall charger to get that battery charged up quite quickly, and a usable USB-C port for Macbooks, newer iPads, iPhones, Android phones, Nintendo Switches...

Seems pricey though, and I don't know if that deal is worth it. Going forward though, I'm always looking for something with USB-C ports if possible. I figure at this point, I'm just finding more and more devices dependent on USB-C.

I’m curious of their quality with their security cams. I actually didn’t even know they even offered anything in that segment. I have several Anker products, always impressed.

They're great. You charge the camera's once every 6 months and you're good to go.

That’s impressive, once every six months? That’s like I a ‘set it and forget it’ type of scenario. How’s the camera quality? Is it stored on an SSD or in the cloud?

Would love to just find some basic USB-C wall chargers (with cable) and some for the car. These would make great Christmas gifts.

I wonder what percent of people have any idea what these "fast chargers" are or even exist?

The camera quality is really good, even at night. A lot better than your average ring doorbell for example. All data is stored on the homebase, which is a central device in your home which all the camera's connect to. The sd card in the home base is encrypted. All of the camera's and the homebase have a theft alarm. The homebase also has an emergency battery for about 10 hours. The system is really well thought out.

So neither the USB-C nano wall block or USB-C lightning cord have a "deal" which is annoying since that's what most people want, but oh well.

It's the 60w output that makes it so awesome. It can take the same input and charge in hours without getting terribly hot.

I have this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08537MKBS/ref=pe_825000_114212990_TE_FOCE_n_id

I got it 50% off thanks to a Macrumors link. What I love about this? I can run my 2013 MBP off of it for a good % of the work day - even heavy CPU tasks - it keeps the MacBook topped off. That and the 60w output means it rapid charges my iPhone and my iPad Pro perfectly.

(Do I need this? No. <cough cough>). :)

That's the only reason for the higher price point. If you don't need the rapid charging, the 18w 20,000 mAh bricks are the best bang for the buck.

Are there even any real BF priced deals here? Nothing stands out as exceptionally cheap (actually, their stuff is sort of overpriced now compared to other companies like Ravpower and others).

Anker built its reputation on three things -- good value, good products, and good support.

I haven't bought anything recently enough to comment on the latter two, but the first has been questionable, if not absent, for awhile.

Still a worthy option, but no longer a nearly automatic one now, without shopping around first.

But good support, and affiliate programs cost money. One big deal site has never shied away from pimping the brand, and actively shunning others for "not meeting quality standards." You know what "quality" means in that context, and it doesn't refer to the product.

That's pretty disturbing.
Anker makes quality products that in the past have always been USB-IF and MFi certified.
If they're not putting out an MFi MagSafe charger, just how prohibitive are Apple's rules/costs this time around?
More likely they wanted to get something that looks like MagSafe out the door ASAP to capture those Amazon impulse buys, while they work on an proper MFi MagSafe product.
