It would be nice to see real world differences rather than synthetic numbers.
Does the camera app load faster or OneDrive uploads complete in a shorter period? What about sending out emails with several large attachments?

I'm not sure there'll be any noticeable difference for those tasks. The previous iPhones have plenty of power for that sort of thing.
Because the 8 and 8+ are just better.
The X owners are going to have to put up with inferior performance and a smaller screen.
Just kidding, I am sure the X will be fine.

Who cares about specs? I'll take consistent performance, a smooth OS and the notion that my phone will be updated with the latest Apple OS for years longer than the newest Android device. The Pixel 2 isn't even out yet and my iPhone 8 will last twice as long as the Pixel will.
Wow, the those scores are pretty amazing! Almost makes me want to upgrade from my 7+.
Yeah, I'm sure your 7+ is super slow and unbearable to use. Time to upgrade that obsolete antique!
iPhone 7 will be outperforming most devices running Android by the end of 2018, this is nothing new for Apple.
