My photo manipulation needs are very simple, all I need to do is adjust colours/contrast etc. and remove red eye. All easily achieved with iPhoto and now Preview as well. However, I have one further need and that is for annotating pictures with simpl,e notes, for inclusion in reports.

I notice that Preview (Leopard version) includes the ability to annotate PDF files but it doesn't seem to do the same for graphics (jpeg, bmp). Is it just a case that it can't do it or is there some secret?

I have a copy of Acorn that does the job extremely well so it isn't a problem but I was just wondering if I could reduce the number of apps I need. :)
