Announce message with Siri work with watch?

I can’t find any info on Announce message with Siri to work with the watch with 13.2/6.1 . I have tried it with phone and beats pro and it works great but I use the watch for workouts and this is when that feature will be used for me. I guess if no info it won’t work with watch, maybe someone knows any info about it?

Are you still getting the message on the Watch but it’s just not being announced?

Still getting the meeeage on watch but ya not being announced. But I didn’t try with phone out of range so I guess I should try that first. I just haven’t read any info on it
