MacRumors has a new forum administrator: user HexMonkey, who joined MacRumors in 2004 and lives in Christchurch, New Zealand.
HexMonkey, a long-time volunteer, has been a MacRumors moderator since June 2006 and has done an outstanding job helping users with the forum system, helping the moderation team oversee the forums, suggesting ideas for site improvements, and helping the administrators with periodic post report reviews used to evaluate forum problems from a statistical point of view. For example, see the 2012 Post Report Statistics thread that HexMonkey compiled and presented earlier this year.
As an administrator HexMonkey now has additional responsibilities to help manage technical aspects of the forum system and to work with the other administrations to troubleshoot problems, evaluate ideas and suggestions, and help with decision-making. His combination of technical skill, long-term participation, and understanding of site policies makes him an ideal addition to the administration team.
Please join us in thanking HexMonkey for the generous assistance he continues to give to the MacRumors community.
Tips
If you have general questions or comments about the forum system or site policies, suitable for discussion among all forum members, you can post them in the Site and Forum Feedback forum.
