This front page post announced the existence of the keynote video on Apple's site at 4:15pm yesterday. It also provided other links:
I appreciate the diligence to provide all these links. I prefer to download the keynote rather than view it off of Apple's website. However, none of these links had the keynote at the time they were posted. They keynotes appeared on the podcasts sometime around midnight. There is not a copy of the keynote on Apple's channel on YouTube; I did not see any Apple Keynotes there.
All things equal, I would prefer that the download links not be provided until each respective feed actually has the keynote available for download. The links could be provided in an update to the article or in a new article. Putting them up early can create confusion -- especially if some of the announced sources never gets the keynote.
MR is doing an extraordinary job covering these presentations. The summaries were great. Thank you.
The video should be made available soon on Apple's YouTube channel, as well as its Apple Keynotes Podcast on the iTunes Store. [Podcast links: Keynotes, Keynotes in HD, Keynotes in 1080p HD]
