Annoying 3.0 Bug

Try changing the order of the icons on the bottom of the app store (Categories, Featured, Updates, etc). For those who don't know, tap More > Edit then drag the icons around. Now click done and exit out and go back in. Did it go back to the default order? It does every time for me.

Good catch. It resets everytime I quit the App Store and go back in too for me. It is annoying. I don't like how they moved Updates to a whole another option. So I was trying to replace Search with it but then it reset after I went out of the app and went back in again.

Ya I need quick access to the Updates tab as well. This is a relatively big bug for Apple, I wonder how they're gonna fix it.

Well, I see that this is definitely a big bug now. Will Apple fix this soon? Possibly in a 3.0.1 update?

i noticed this earlier also, but what did u guys take out?? "Search" "Top 25" and the first 2 are like the most used

Works for me. You want an annoying bug? Hang up a phone call and before the phone call screen goes away, double click the home button to go to favorites.

Yeah I noticed that too. it doesn't seem to be caching any data too so it's slow to load.

The annoying thing is I didn't have this problem on the 3.0 GM build but I DO have it now that I restored to the "official" 3.0 release.

I noticed this last night and its pissing me right off.

Updates is the main reason I go into the App Store on the phone, so having it off a 'more' option I find really irritating.

I too, hate that they moved the Updates button, but I am wondering if they added Push now to let us know about updates. I have push on four apps and none have pushed yet so I am not sure.

I managed to change the order of the buttons at the bottom of the App Store but now the 'More' and with it the 'Redeem' button has vanished. I now have the 'Featured', 'Categories', 'Search', 'Updates' and 'Top 25' button.

So can the 2 people who say this bug doesn't affect them try again? Seems very odd that only 2 people out of a dozen or more wouldn't have the issue.

Also noticed that the spinning icon in the task bar is really glitchy when using the app store.

happens to me all the time, i gave up on moving it back as the new updat eindicator still shows on the "more" icon
