Annoying alert when unlocking mac

Is there any way to disable the notification and alert when I unlock my mac with my apple watch...there should be a way to turn it off....however there should also be away to change the tone alert on the watch too...but whatever Apple....

It shouldn't be doing that unless you have the MacID app installed

I am on watchOS 3 and sierra. Sorry should have mentioned that.

I know what you mean it is really annoying. I doubt Apple will give an option to turn it off though because from their perspective it is a security feature. Imagine someone opens your MacBook when you aren't looking.

Yea I could see that but damn the range is like 3 feet..don't think it be an issue...maybe just allow it to be Taptic feedback or change the noice...the lack of tone changing on watch really pisses me off

Agreed. The notification is annoying, the first thine I did was look for a way to turn it off.
